New court filings in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s espionage and obstruction case against Trump and two co-defendants conclusively demonstrate that the government used the cover sheets to deceive the public as well as the court. The photo was a stunt, and one that adds more fuel to this dumpster-fire case. It is safe to assume Judge Cannon will not take these new revelations lightly--particularly since Bratt also had to admit in the same filing that he did not tell her the truth when she asked about the condition of the boxes.

These people are losers. And the now-viral smartass at LSU exposed them as such in ways that are instructive. You can even take that exchange to 35,000 feet as a metaphor for the red-state critique of the American Left as a whole. No, they have no championships. They don’t have positive behavioral habits, they don’t work productively, they’re weak in all the ways that matter, they lack focus and control, and they don’t pull together for the greater good. That’s true of Hamas. And it’s certainly true of the dupes who protest for them.

Report: Biden White House Trying to Force New Regulations to Hinder Second Trump Presidency

Biden officials anonymously told the WSJ that they have until the end of May to enact regulations before Trump could undo them in a second term. The Congressional Review Act (CRA) gives Congress the authority to review policies and regulations that are enacted by the executive branch. Regulations introduced within 60 work days of the end of the current congressional session could be targeted by the next Congress. As such, the Biden Administration is rushing to enact as many new regulations as possible during the spring.

Judge Juan Merchan fined the former president but stipulated that he might jail Trump if the violations continue. The order prohibits the 45th president from commenting on witnesses, members of the jury, certain court staffers, and Judge Merchan’s family members. “I have to watch every word I tell you people … because this judge has given me a gag order and said, ‘You’ll go to jail if you violate it,’ ... And frankly, you know what? Our Constitution is much more important than jail. It’s not even close. I’ll do that sacrifice any day.”

A new study published in a scientific journal called Wind Energy Science and authored by researchers from the University of Colorado and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), focuses on what happens when the presence of nearby wind turbines reduces wind speeds for other turbines and their ability to produce power. The researchers project that the “wake effect,” the technical name for the phenomenon, could lead to a loss of up to 38 percent of power generation at one East Coast offshore wind development.

Former President Donald Trump isn’t the only one under a gag order in this trial. If prosecutors decide to pursue an alleged campaign finance violation as the essential “other crime” in this case — and remember, there is no prosecution without the “other crime” — then (former chairman of the FEC Smith) would be one of the most knowledgeable and experienced witnesses who could be called to testify. Under Judge Juan Merchan’s restrictions, the jury will get to hear very little of what Bradley Smith has to say.

Are Trump’s Polls Understating His Lead?

Trump will win every state he won in 2020, including North Carolina. This gives him a floor of 235 electoral votes. He will also win Georgia, which gets him to 251. If he wins Pennsylvania, he’s there. Sadly, that probably won’t happen. He may well win Michigan, however, which will get him to 266 electoral votes. Then, all he needs is Nevada(6) or Arizona (11) and he’s home. All of this assumes that Trump’s current poll numbers are accurate. It is more likely that they understate his support. Voters remember the peace and prosperity.
