Anti-Semitism Should Not be Part of the American College Experience
Fred Fleitz, American Greatness
Intolerance and violence on campus, like the current anti-Israel and anti-Jewish demonstrations, will continue and grow until there are fundamental changes to banish the radical and intolerant radical ideologies that cause them. This will be a huge undertaking that will require major initiatives to reform college curriculums and culture—including hiring moderate and conservative professors—that college administrators and faculty will fiercely resist. This may change next January if there is a new president in the White House.

More than 1.7 Million Illegal Entries in First Six Months of Fiscal 2024
The Center Square (Bethany Blankley), The Star News Network
More than 1.7 million foreign nationals have illegally entered the U.S. in the first six months of fiscal 2024, the greatest number for this time period in U.S. history. The 1,733,496 who illegally entered in the first six months of the fiscal year outnumber the 1,547,866 who illegally entered in the first six months of fiscal 2023 by more than 185,000. In March, there were 246,432 illegal entries reported nationwide, with 189,372 illegally entering through the southwest border alone, according to the latest CBP data.

Biden records worst approval rating in history for president at this point in first term: Gallup
Seth McLaughlin, The Washington Times
The 81-year-old Democrat notched the lowest approval rating, 38.7%, of any president at this point in their first term in office. “None of the other nine presidents elected to their first term since Dwight Eisenhower had a lower 13th-quarter average than Biden,” referring to the period between Jan. 20 and April 19. “From a broader historical perspective, Biden’s most recent quarterly average ranks 277th out of 314 presidential quarters in Gallup records dating to 1945. That puts it in the bottom 12% of all presidential quarters.”

Maybe They’re Just Stupid -- Showbiz spits out dimwits.
Scott McKay, The American Spectator
These people simply refuse to go that extra inch for audiences, mostly because woke pieties — including the stupid idea that there are no meaningful differences between women and men — are more important than good storytelling. Well, so be it — but nobody is watching your crappy shows, and that’s only getting worse. I can point out that giving girls these “charisma vacuum” characters as role models is a fabulous way to use those cultural institutions to make more unmarriageable, miserable, D+37 women, but I won’t.

Alvin Bragg and Democrats’ ‘Election Interference’
Kimberley A. Strassel, Wall Street Journal
Top to bottom, the Bragg argument is absurd, a desperate effort to turn a baseless case into an ominous and buzzy “election interference” charge. Such legal contortions leave nobody feeling safe. If they can be applied to a prominent politician—with stacks of money to pay lawyers, and tens of millions of supporters—they can more easily be applied to the average Joe. Who’s the threat to democracy? And given the silliness of the case—brought entirely with the aim of influencing the voting public—who is actually “interfering” with the election?

Secret Service Agent Snaps After Being Assigned to Kamala Harris’ Security Detail
Craig Bannister, MRCTV.org
A Secret Service agent snapped, began throwing menstrual pads and attacked her superior after being assigned to Vice President Kamala Harris’ security detail. Secret Service Chief of Communications Anthony Guglielmi issued a statement after the incident, noting that the agent, now identified as Michelle Herczeg, appeared distressed as she awaited Harris’ arrival. It is not clear whether she had ever been subjected first-hand to Harris’ infamously grating laugh or widely-mocked commentaries. Herzczeg was removed from her assignment.

All 10 Worst States for Business Run by Dems, 8 of 10 Best Led by GOP, CEO Survey Shows
Craig Bannister, MRCTV.org
Every one of the 10 “worst states for business” is run by a Democrat governor, while Republican governors dominate the 10 best states, results of a national survey of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) reveals. The 2024 Chief Executive Best & Worst States for Business survey is the latest of the publication’s annual studies. Texas won this year’s crown for best state, with Florida taking second place, which Chief Executive notes has been “the pattern for nearly the entire history of the annual survey that began in 2001.”
